Animal studies have shown an increased risk of spontaneous abortion in the first trimester at doses far in excess of typical human doses. i was on 30mg of mirtazapine before i got pregnant and continued it throughout the whole of my pregnancy. i was always told by the doctors that it was better to take nothing or a lower dosage but i tried and felt really unstable. i have a healthy baby girl now and don't regret taking them at all because of how much better i felt.
